The 12.6km pathway stretches from Petrie Station to Kippa-Ring Station.
Measuring 3m wide, it allows plenty of space for all types of users, accommodating prams, motorised scooters and wheelchairs, and of course exercise enthusiasts and sightseers of all kinds, including cyclists, joggers, skaters and furry four-legged best friends.
The pathway runs parallel with the Peninsula Rail Link, passing through the suburbs of Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, Mango Hill and Rothwell.
There are almost 40 connections from the pathway, allowing you the option to veer off-track to other destinations.
From the shared path you can access Queensland Rail train stations located in:

• Kallangur
• Murrumba Downs
• Mango Hill
• Mango Hill East
• Rothwell
• Kippa-Ring
Not only is it a fantastic track to travel down to clock up some steps on your Fitbit, but it also offers users a local cultural experience – the shared path is dotted with an array of colourful painted murals giving you the perfect excuse to stop for a water break and a looksee.
The artworks, completed by local artists, feature Australian native wildlife, special Anzac tributes and historical commemorations.

This picturesque location is a perfect spot for a halfway point picnic. With wildlife in abundance and a shaded playground for the kids, this stunning lakeside location will give you all the serenity you need.
Sweeney Reserve is the ideal location if you’ve brought the family dog along as the reserve has a fantastic off-leash dog park within its grounds. There’s also a lunch spot, with BBQs and picnic tables available for use.
If you’ve not done enough walking, or prefer trekking down the beaten tracks, the John Oxley Reserve includes a bushwalking trail that leads to the North Pine River boardwalk.
