With toilets, shelters, barbeques and the Moreton Bay Cycleway running through the area,Crockatt Park is great for a quick visit, or a day of play. The playground isn’t fenced, but there is plenty of shade to enjoy while you watch birds and boats go by.

If you love to peddle, Crockatt Park is a great spot to start your cycling adventure. Head west towards the historic Hornibrook Bridge or for a longer ride head towards Margate Beach!
The nearby shopping strip means you can find something to eat if you’ve played so long everyone is starving. Enjoy a coffee or pop into the local Fish and Chip shop and eat prawns by the bayside. A charming spot to watch the sunset over Hays Inlet with D'Aguilar Range as the backdrop.
Keen to catch the next big one? Woody Point Jetty is just a short stroll from Crockatt Park and a popular spot to fish. Local catch includes squid and whiting.
Made in conjunction with Stockland Newport and the Touched by Olivia Foundation, Spinnaker Park is an all-abilities playground in north Brisbane that ensures children of all abilities can play together, including those with physical disabilities and spectrum disorders such as autism.
Located in Clontarf, stage one of the Hays Inlet Eco Path has recently opened to the public. This path was made available in August 2019 for all members of the public to observe and become aware of the natural value of this remaining wetland.
Deception Bay has a rich history, from The Gubbi Gubbi – the traditional owners of the area to the establishment of a Moreton Bay penal colony. The Deception Bay Heritage Trail covers about four kilometres and can be completed in a 90-minute stroll.
