Located in the heart of Redcliffe’s Cultural Precinct, this venue plays host to touring productions, comedy shows, movies, musicals, conferences, civic functions, as well as a variety of community organisations and arts activities.
Recently celebrating it’s 30th year, the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre opened in October of 1982 at a cost of $1.5 million, kicking off with an inaugural variety show starring Barry Crocker. It maintains variety in the diversity of performances and events held at this magnificent venue.
The Redcliffe Entertainment Centre is a highly reputable, nationally recognised art space that caters to a wide range of performances and functions. The jewel in the crown of the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre is the magnificent Matthew Flinders Theatre. This beautifully appointed auditorium seats 390 with raked seating and plenty of room to allow for comfortable viewing throughout. Equipped with the latest technology, this theatre is perfect for a multitude of events. The theatre regularly shows the latest cinematic movie releases, hosts’ theatrical productions, eisteddfods, galas and so much more.

40 min drive north of Brisbane City, there are many free car parks all over the peninsula as well as street parking outside the venue. Hornibrook and Kangaroo bus lines connect from Brisbane and Caboolture respectively. You can catch a metropolitan train service to nearby Sandgate with regular bus services connecting to Redcliffe.
