Since opening its doors in 2011, this Eatons Hill restaurant & bistro has focused on serving up spectacular meals using local produce direct from Rocklea Markets, with all herbs supplied from the Rocklea Markets Golligers family. Orders often come in 7 days a week to ensure diners receive the utmost quality dishes each and every day.
Eaton’s also proudly supports two local bakeries, a patisserie, as well as local butchers and all the venue’s root vegetables come direct from the Gatton area in south Brisbane.
For an incredible earthy dish bursting with flavour exemplifying the best of what Eatons Hill Hotel has to offer, you can’t go past the chef’s pride and joy – vegetarian lasagne using handmade lasagne sheets with vine-ripened tomato bisc.

Eatons Hill restaurant & bistro uses home-grown honey produced at one of the Comiskey family’s properties (the venue owners).
Comiskey’s golden nectar sports great iron bark colours and an incredible natural sweetness which must be tasted to be believed.
When the Comiskey family first saw the site which Eatons Hill Hotel now stands upon, they were immediately drawn to the beautiful, towering 150-year-old fig tree whose canopy stretches 20 metres horizontally and vertically complementing its surroundings perfectly.
When designing the hotel KP architects and the Comiskey family agreed this spectacular tree, home to multiple species of birds, possums and the occasional wood duck, should be respected and safeguarded for future generations to enjoy.
The timber used throughout the hotel all fits together reaching out to the deck under the fig’s canopy, allowing people to experience the tree’s natural formation from its root system up into its branches and leaves. Every evening, colourful lights change colour in this iconic, grand old fig enhancing its beauty even at night.
The giant fig is the primary element in the venue’s design and enjoys its place as a major Eatons Hill Hotel drawcard, providing shade and bringing joy to diners and all who pass through.
