For caravan parks near Brisbane city head to Bells Caravan Park along the Redcliffe peninsula in Clontarf. This Moreton Bay Regional Council operated caravan park is situated opposite Bells Beach, a popular jet-skiing and windsurfing spot.
If you’re looking for well-located North of Brisbane caravan parks then Bells should be towards the top of your list. This caravan park gives the travelling tourist a great sea change getaway just outside the city with just enough dining options, coffee shops and parks within walking distance to keep the whole family happy (a takeaway store is also right next door).
Not only can you enjoy a splash in the ocean waters right on the park’s doorstep, but you can also take a stroll or cycle along the shared pathway which extends to the Woody Point Jetty in the east, and to the Hornibrook Bridge fishing platform to the west.
Both destinations are an approximate 1.5km walk from the caravan park.
Caravan parks near Brisbane city don’t get much more family-friendly than Bells – there’s plenty of fresh air fun to be had close-by and further north along the peninsula at Margate Beach, Suttons Beach and Scarborough Beach, as well as more dining, swimming and shopping things to do in the heart of Redcliffe.
The beach opposite the caravan park features electric BBQs, sheltered picnic tables, toilets, rubbish bins, and a carpark, perfect for relaxed get-togethers, or just some time to yourself by the waterside.
Crockatt Park and Pelican Park are both located within walking distance of Bell’s Caravan Park.
Crockatt Park is about 1.5km to the east of the caravan park, nearby the shops and cafes at Woody Point. It features a playground and flying fox, along with BBQ facilities, toilets and shelters.
Pelican Park is 1km to the west of the caravan park, features a boat ramp and kids playground.
Whether you’d like to launch your SUP, kayak, windsurfing board, or boat to take the family fishing, let the kids loose on the playground, or see pelicans up close – Pelican Park is your nearest port of call.
