For caravan parks near Brisbane city, head to Bells Caravan Park overlooking Bells Beach – a popular location to jet-ski and wind surf. This caravan park is a great getaway for those looking for a sea change weekend. Not only can you take a splash, you can also enjoy a beautiful walk or cycle along the shared pathway which extends right to the Woody Point Jetty, or head in the opposite direction for a fish from the Hornibrook Bridge fishing platform.

Nestled in a sleepy, beachside town Toorbul Caravan Park is one of the Moreton Bay Caravan Parks operated by the local council. Offering a large amenities block, access to local waterways for swimming, fishing and boating and an onsite kiosk, Toorbul Caravan Park will be a holidays experience reminiscent of your wonderful childhood memories. Located in a true nature corridor, kangaroos are often seen roaming the park much to the delight of overseas visitors. Tucked away in a tranquil location the cabins and van sites are in high-demand and bookings are recommended year round.

This is one of the Moreton region’s best caravan parks with an abundance of facilities for kids of all ages. Only 200m from the beach and in walking distance of shops, cafes, hotels and the Surf Club this is a well-located and well-equipped site. A partly shaded pool is great for toddlers plus for the bigger kids there is mini golf, a half size tennis court, a recreation and games room and internet access.

With contemporary facilities, an onsite coffee shop, BBQ cabana, large grassed play area and brand-new laundries the only thing to outshine the wonderful facilities is the views. Adjoining a council park and only 400 metres from the famous ‘Morgan’s Seafood Restaurant’ Scarborough Village is a place where holiday memories are happily made. If you’re looking for a Moreton Bay caravan park that’s perfect for fishing enthusiasts, this is the choice for you. The site directly joins two boat ramps and offers anglers access to the well-known fishing haven of Pumicestone Passage. Silver Shores requires bookings, is pet-free and can be found at Kalamakuta Drive at Sandstone Point (2 minutes from Bribie Island).

Welcoming pets of all shapes and sizes, Running Creek Parklands is a dog-friendly camping area near Brisbane. With several campsites available, animal feeding sessions and generator use allowed, Running Creek Parklands is the perfect place to stop and stay in the Moreton Bay Region.

The all vehicle accessible Neurum Creek Bush Retreat is a privately run campground located on the northern outer edge of D’Aguilar National Park.
